Why these settings

The Boston GA-15R is a small solid-state practice amp with Gain, Volume, 3-band EQ, and Reverb (no Presence knob). Dimebag's original tone came from high-powered solid-state clipping, but your single-coil Strat will sound thinner and brighter than his hot Bill Lawrence humbucker, so roll the guitar tone knob to 8 and keep the amp treble at 7 to prevent piercing fizz. Keep Reverb at 0 to capture the ultra-dry, articulate rhythm attack.
