Why these settings

The Cort CM30R is a 30W practice amp with limited gain — even maxed, its Overdrive channel produces classic rock crunch, not modern metal saturation. Dimebag's tone requires a high-gain pedal as the primary dirt source. I've scooped mids to 3 (Dime's signature scoop) and pushed treble for pick attack, but the small 10" speaker will soften the low-end thump vs the original 4x12.

PRO TIPDimebag's razor attack came from extremely low action, heavy picks (1mm+), and picking right over the bridge pickup pole pieces — anchor your palm hard and pick aggressively with a stiff downward attack to get that percussive chunk on the palm-muted riffs.
