Why these settings

The LT25's Metal 2000 model approximates the Randall's aggressive solid-state attack. Dimebag's original ran mids at 2-3 on the Randall, but the LT25's digital voicing is already mid-scooped in high-gain models, so I've set mid to 3 to retain enough cut for note definition. Your SG's humbuckers are warmer than Dime's L-500XL, so treble stays high at 8 to compensate for the lost top-end bite.

PRO TIPDimebag's right-hand attack was the secret weapon — pick hard and close to the bridge with a thick pick (1.0mm+), and commit fully to every palm mute. The tone lives in the aggression, not just the settings.
