Why these settings

Original used a nylon-string piezo into a clean Marshall — your Ibanez humbuckers are hotter and brighter. Compensate by using the neck pickup, rolling tone to 6, and backing volume to 8 for touch sensitivity. The Mustang's Twin model is warmer than its British models and better approximates the studio's clean, reverb-heavy sound. Treble dropped from original's 6.5 to 4 because Fender voicing is already bright.

PRO TIPPick closer to the neck (over the fretboard edge) and use the fleshy part of your thumb or fingers for the intro arpeggios — Zakk's nylon-string tone came partly from soft attack, which your steel strings won't replicate with a pointed pick near the bridge.
