The original used an acoustic-electric into a spotless Twin Reverb clean channel. Your MG30CFX is solid-state with a brighter, more sterile voicing than a Twin's warm tube clean. PRO TIPPick closer to the neck (around the 18th-20th fret area) with the fleshy part of your thumb or fingers to mimic the round, thumpy attack of an acoustic strummed near the soundhole — picking near the bridge will sound too bright and aggressive for this tone.
