The Glarry GB-20 features a simple 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) and Volume without a dedicated gain or drive stage. Pushing Treble to 8 and Mid to 7 compensates for the solid-state clean nature of the amp, pulling out the aggressive string clank needed for modern post-hardcore. Keep both pickups wide open on your Jazz bass to retain low-end punch while adding bridge bite.

PRO TIPPlay aggressively with a heavy 1.0mm+ pick right between the neck and bridge pickups, striking downward across fresh roundwound strings to capture the signature percussive snap.
