Why these settings

The MG10CD has only Gain, Bass, Treble, and Volume — no mid or presence knobs, so those are null. The original JCM800 is mid-forward; the MG10CD's OD channel is scooped by comparison, so I dropped bass from 5 to 4 to keep low-end tight on the small speaker and set treble at 6 for bite without fizz. Gain 7 is near the MG's saturation ceiling — it won't reach full JCM800 chunk, but it's the closest this amp gets.

PRO TIPDig in hard with downstrokes on the palm-muted single-note riff and let the pick attack do the work — the MG's compression smooths dynamics, so aggressive picking keeps the tone alive.
