The Cort G300 Pro features high-output Seymour Duncan humbuckers (SH-2N / TB-4) which provide plenty of punch similar to Hetfield's active EMGs. The Valeton GP-100 handles the heavy Mesa Mark crunch via its Cali/Mark amp block paired with an onboard TS-style boost to cut flub before high-gain stages. The onboard EQ block recreates the essential 'V-curve' Mark series mid-scoop that defines the Black Album rhythm weight. Clean verse/intro: switch to the Neck pickup with the TS and EQ blocks bypassed on a clean amp preset.
