RECOMMENDED — not currently owned; place in front of clean channel for authentic high-gain scoop
The Vault Fury 15 is a compact solid-state practice amp with a 3-band EQ and Drive switch, lacking the massive headroom and cascaded tube compression of the Mesa/Marshall rig. To mimic the iconic Mesa Mark IIC+ V-curve EQ, scoop the amp's Middle knob down to 2 while pushing Bass to 8 and Treble to 7 on the Drive channel. Clean interlude: switch to the Clean channel with guitar volume rolled back to 7.
