The MG30CFX OD1 channel approximates JCM800 voicing but has less midrange bite and looser low-end. Dropped mid from 5 to 4 because the MG is already mid-forward vs the original scooped JCM800 tone. Without a TS9 boost in front, the attack will feel softer and bass mushier — the pedal is critical for authentic Mustaine tightness. Your SG humbuckers are warmer than Jackson actives, so treble stays at 7 to preserve cut.
