The MG30CFX lacks the tight low-end and aggressive midrange of a modded JCM800, so I've kept bass conservative at 5 to prevent mud and pushed treble to 8 for that thrash bite. Your Epiphone SG's humbuckers are warmer and lower-output than Mustaine's hot Duncans, so the Boss OD running as a clean boost (low drive, high level) compensates by adding compression and tightening the attack. The MG30CFX has no presence knob — the treble at 8 covers that high-end cut.

PRO TIPMustaine's tone comes from pick attack, not gain — use thick picks (1mm+), strike close to the bridge, and focus on dead-tight palm muting with zero slop between notes. The silence between riffs is as important as the notes.
