Why these settings

The Marshall G15 features an Overdrive channel and Contour-style EQ layout without a dedicated mid or presence knob. Engage the drive channel with gain set around 7 to capture the gritty emo-rock saturation from the record. If you add an overdrive pedal later, switch the amp to the clean channel and use the pedal as your primary gain source.

PRO TIPDig in hard with aggressive downstrokes near the bridge to maximize pick attack and get that abrasive, dynamic emo-punk rasp.
