| Knob | Setting (0–10) |
|---|---|
| Gain | 6 |
| Bass | 4 |
| Mid | 8 |
| Treble | 7 |
| Presence | 6 |
| Reverb | 3 |
| Master | 7 |
01OD-1 (or Booster block mapped as DOD 250 style boost)
Placed in front of the amp block to push the front end and tighten the lows
02Noise Suppressor (MDP NS)
Essential to tame single-coil buzz and high-gain sizzle
03Plate Reverb
Post-amp block to emulate early 8-track studio room decay
The B.C. Rich Warlock Bronze humbuckers are much darker and hotter than Yngwie's vintage single-coils, so the amp gain is pulled back to 6 and the boost drive kept low to prevent muddy saturation. We push the mid control to 8 and treble to 7 on the BRIT STACK model to inject the glassy, articulate bite that Stratocasters naturally possess. Using the neck pickup captures Yngwie's signature round, fluty sweep-picking sweep while the high-mid EQ keeps it razor sharp. Solo passages: switch to neck pickup with volume maxed and let the OD block push the front end.
