The Tweed amp model in the GT-1000 provides the cranked vintage midrange bite that defined Joe Walsh's solo tone. To compensate for the Stratocaster's slightly thinner bridge pickup compared to Walsh's Telecaster, the TS9 is engaged with low drive and high level to add low-mid body and sustain. The GT-1000 internal phaser is dialed very subtly pre-gain to mimic the iconic movement without washing out pick attack.
