Quieren Dinero amp settings — Blackstar Fly 3
The Los Prisioneros guitar tone for “Quieren Dinero”, dialed in for a Blackstar Fly 3 with a Yamaha ERG 121. Studio version, Pateando Piedras (1986)
Roland JC-120 or similar solid-state clean amp, Fender-style guitars, chorus pedal, delay unit - New Wave/synth-pop production with spaghetti western-inspired clean guitar tones over synth bass
| Knob | Setting (0–10) |
|---|---|
| Gain | 2 |
| Bass | 4 |
| Treble | 7 |
| Master | 6 |
The Fly 3 has only Gain, EQ (one knob acting as bass-treble balance), and Volume - the 'treble 7' value means push the EQ knob toward the treble side (about 70% clockwise). Gain stays very low because Claudio Narea's tone is pristine clean with the grit coming from picking attack, not amp saturation. The original uses studio chorus and reverb you cannot replicate without pedals.
