A tube Blues Junior cannot produce modern Nu-Metal Rectifier/5150 saturation naturally, so engage the Fat boost and crank preamp volume to 9 for the maximum crunch the amp can provide. To compensate for single-coil pickups, the treble is tamed to 5 and bass boosted to 7 to add missing humbucker weight. Adding a dedicated high-gain distortion pedal in front into a cleaner amp setting is required to fully capture the crushing studio sound.
