Why these settings

The Mustang LT25's 'Metal 2000' preset emulates the JCM 2000 high-gain voicing Delson used. Mids are scooped to 4 (vs the original's ~5-6) because the Fender modeling tends to be mid-forward compared to a real Rectifier's naturally scooped character. Gain is pushed to 8 to compensate for the lower output of your Donner's stock ceramic pickups vs Delson's hot DiMarzios. Reverb at 0—the Meteora tone is bone dry.

PRO TIPDelson's chunk comes from extremely tight palm muting with the pick angled sharply and struck close to the bridge—practice muting harder than you think necessary, and if possible, use heavier strings (11-52 minimum) to maintain tension in Drop C# tuning.
