Why these settings

The Ibz15gr is a small solid-state practice amp with limited gain saturation and no channel switching—it cannot replicate the Dual Rectifier's thick, compressed saturation. I maxed gain and raised treble +1 vs typical Mesa settings to compensate for the amp's weaker distortion voicing. Mids are set to 4 (not fully scooped) because the Squier's single coils are already thin in the mids—scooping further would sound hollow. The single-coil Strat lacks the output and low-end thump of Delson's humbuckers; without a TS-style pedal to compress and boost the signal, palm mutes will not have the tight 'chunk' of the original.

PRO TIPTune to Drop D at minimum (ideally Drop C# if your strings can handle it—use .011-.052 gauge). Pick directly over the bridge pickup with a stiff .88mm+ pick and aggressive downstrokes to maximize attack and simulate the humbucker punch you're missing.
