The MG15FX has a brighter, thinner voicing than the Dual Rectifier's massive low-mid saturation. Compensate by pushing bass to 7 (vs original's ~4-5) and cutting mids hard to 3 to approximate the Rectifier's scooped character. The MG's gain circuit is solid-state and less compressed, so gain at 8 gets you into the ballpark without fizzing out. No presence knob exists on MG15FX — treble at 7 handles the cut.
