Why these settings

The MG15DFX is a solid-state practice amp with a fizzy, harsh high-end compared to the warm, compressed Rectifier saturation. I dropped treble from the original's ~7 to 6 and killed presence entirely (the MG's presence adds ice-pick fizz, not power-amp bloom). Mid at 4 gives you the scooped nu-metal character without disappearing. Gain maxed because this amp doesn't have the saturation depth of a tube Rectifier—you need every bit it has. Without a boost pedal, your chugs will be loose and undefined; the TS9-style pedal is essential for this tone.

PRO TIPTune down (A standard or drop A if your guitar handles it) and use your picking hand's palm heavily—Munky and Head dig in right at the bridge saddles for that percussive, clicking attack on the low string chugs. Roll your tone knob to 7 to shave the solid-state fizz without losing aggression.
