The Peavey MAX 100 features a 3-band EQ without a presence control, so presence is null. We engage the built-in Overdrive circuit with gain at 8 to simulate the aggressive Darkglass preamp distortion from the recording, while enabling the Contour switch and cutting the Mid knob to 3 to achieve the modern scooped grind. Treble and Bright are pushed hard to capture the iconic metallic clank off the frets.

PRO TIPPlay with a heavy 1.0mm+ tortex pick right next to the bridge, and set the Phat II active bass boost knob on your GSR200 to around 6-7 to restore sub-low punch under the heavy distortion.
