Why these settings

The DSL20HR Ultra Gain channel easily provides all the modern pop-punk crunch needed for the main riff without external pedals. The Rocket ST-2 has thin single-coil pickups, so treble and presence are capped at 5 to prevent harsh fizz, while mids are pushed to 7 to add body. Resonance should be set around 5 on the DSL back panel to provide tight palm-mute thump without getting muddy. Clean verse: switch to Classic Gain channel with guitar volume around 8.

PRO TIPDig in hard with a thick plectrum (1.0mm+) right near the bridge saddles to get that snappy, explosive pop-punk attack on palm-muted eighth notes.
