Why these settings

Fripp used a Germanium Burns Buzzaround fuzz into cranked British stacks. To avoid muddy double-gain on the Orange Crush 20, keep the amp on the Clean channel and use the MT-2 with moderate distortion and boosted high-mids (around 1.5-2kHz) to emulate the biting Buzzaround fuzz contour. The Orange EQ stays fairly flat with slight warmth to balance the ceramic Jackson pickups. Clean verse: not applicable, but for quieter parts roll guitar volume to 6-7.
