01Tube Screamer style overdrive (TS9)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Essential for Kaan's signature pushed-clean-amp tone. A Behringer TO800, Joyo Vintage Overdrive, or any TS clone will work.
02Digital Delay (Boss DD-3 style)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Sets the atmospheric depth on leads. 300-400ms delay time, moderate repeats. Any budget digital delay achieves this.
The Kozmos Blaze-30 is a budget solid-state amp without the natural tube compression of Kaan's Twin Reverb. Push mids +1 from a neutral Fender voicing to compensate for the Blaze's flatter response. Without a Tube Screamer, the amp's gain alone will sound harsher and less defined—keep gain moderate at 5 rather than cranking it. The Auster guitar likely has generic humbuckers or single coils; if humbuckers, this mid-forward setting prevents mud.
