Because the Squier Telecaster lacks the Stratocaster's distinctive in-between 'quack', the neck pickup provides the necessary warmth and round attack. Treble is raised slightly on the modeler to compensate for the Tele neck pickup's darker profile, while the mids are scooped to mirror Mayer's Two-Rock/Dumble clean platform. The Bluesbreaker block provides slight harmonic thickness on harder picks rather than actual distortion.
