Why these settings

The RP-55 lacks a true Marshall Plexi model, so use the warmest clean/Tweed simulation and let the SD-1 add harmonic grit at low drive. Frusciante's Niandra-era tone is intentionally lo-fi and raw — the Pacifica's Alnico single coils approximate the Strat spank well. Rolling tone to 6 and volume to 8 mimics his dynamic clean-up technique.
