The Orange Rocker 15 is warmer and more compressed in the low-mids than a JCM800, so bass drops from the original's 6 to 4 to prevent mud. Mid stays high at 7 to preserve Maiden's signature harmonic clarity on dual-guitar harmonies. Treble backs off one notch to 6 because the Rocker's EL84 power section is brighter than the JCM800's EL34s.

PRO TIPRoll tone knob to 8 (not full) on the Jackson's bridge humbucker — this tames the ceramic magnet's ice-pick frequencies and gets closer to the PAF-style warmth Murray and Smith used. For the clean arpeggiated intro, flip to the neck pickup with gain dropped to 2 and volume knob at 7.
