RECOMMENDED — a simple tremolo pedal (Boss TR-2, Walrus Monument, or EHX Pulsar) adds the subtle pulse. Set slow and shallow—it's felt more than heard. Place after reverb for washy trails or before for choppy pulses.

Why these settings

The 5150 is a high-gain metal amp—the opposite of Hermanos Gutiérrez's Fender cleans. Use the rhythm/clean channel with gain at 2 to stay pristine. Treble dropped to 3 and presence to 2 because the 5150's voicing is aggressive and bright compared to a Deluxe Reverb's warm mids. Your Strat's single coils are actually ideal here, but roll tone to 3 and volume to 7 to darken and soften the attack, mimicking their rounder semi-hollow response.
