The Valeton GP-100's UK 800 model provides the core modded Marshall crunch, pushed to gain 7 for Slash's singing sustain. To compensate for the bright, twangy single-coil neck pickup on your Telecaster compared to Slash's warm Alnico II humbucker, keep the amp treble at 5, presence at 4, and roll the Tele's physical tone knob down to 5. Solo boost: kick on a Tube Screamer drive block with Drive 0, Level 8, Tone 5.

PRO TIPSlash famously recorded the intro riff on his Les Paul's neck pickup with the tone knob rolled halfway down to achieve that flute-like 'woman tone' attack. On a Telecaster neck pickup, rolling the tone knob back to 5 is mandatory to tame string harshness and nail that rounded intro sound.
