Why these settings

The HB-20R is a budget solid-state practice amp with a Fender-voiced EQ—naturally scooped and bright compared to a Marshall's mid-forward bark. I pushed mids to 7 (vs original's ~5) to compensate for the amp's inherent scoop, dropped treble to 5 (vs 6-7) because small solid-state amps get fizzy fast, and cut bass to 4 to avoid mud. The amp lacks the natural compression and harmonic saturation of a cranked Marshall, so a TS-style pedal is strongly recommended to get into the ballpark.

PRO TIPTune to Eb standard as Slash did—the slinkier string tension makes the wide vibrato and bends more fluid. Roll your guitar's tone knob to 6 for the intro and solo to get that 'woman tone' vocal quality; open it to 8 for the heavier rhythm sections.
