Why these settings

The Vantage Microbass VB15 is a small solid-state bass practice amp with limited EQ range and no natural overdrive character — it cannot replicate a cranked Marshall on its own. Amp gain is set low (3) to keep the platform clean; the Blues Driver provides all the dirt. Mid pushed to 7 to compensate for the Telecaster's brighter, thinner single-coil output versus the original's fat PAF humbuckers. Bass cut to 4 because the amp is voiced for bass guitar and will get muddy otherwise. For the clean intro, roll your guitar volume to 5-6 and switch to the neck pickup.
