Why these settings

Your Epiphone's 498T/490R pickups are hotter and slightly brighter than Slash's PAF-style '59 replica, so I dropped treble by 1 from the original 7 to 6 and kept presence at 7 rather than 8 to avoid ice-pick highs. The ToneX Jubilee model will nail the compressed, mid-rich saturation of the original — the key is rolling your tone knob to 6 and using the neck pickup to get that vocal, singing quality Slash is famous for on this solo.

PRO TIPSlash's secret on this solo is the rolled-back tone knob combined with neck pickup — it removes the brittle high frequencies and lets the mids sing. Also, use your volume knob at 8 instead of 10 to clean up the attack slightly and add touch sensitivity, then dig in harder on the sustained bends for that crying vocal quality.
