The Tone Master Deluxe Reverb has a scooped American midrange and high clean headroom compared to Slash's mid-forward Marshall Silver Jubilee. Crank the Deluxe's Volume (set to 7 here under master_volume via rear attenuator) to push the power section into natural breakup, keeping Treble at 5 so the neck pickup stays vocal rather than harsh. A British-voiced overdrive pedal is strongly recommended to supply the signature Jubilee crunch and midrange sustain that a clean Fender cannot physically produce on its own.

PRO TIPRoll the Les Paul's neck tone knob back to around 6.5–7 to capture Slash's 'woman tone' bloom, and pick firmly with the edge of a heavy pick right over the end of the fretboard for maximum harmonic sweetness.
