Why these settings

Running a high-output electric guitar into the Aguilar Tone Hammer bass head provides immense clean headroom with very round low-mids; keep Gain low at 3 and drive control off to prevent solid-state clipping. Mid EQ on the Aguilar is centered at 700-800Hz with a slight push to cut through, while the GE-7 shapes the high-end response of the Jackson humbuckers. The POG3 adds a faint +1 octave blend to replicate the studio lead tracking character.

PRO TIPSelect the neck pickup and pick lightly near the 24th fret position with the side of your thumb or a rounded pick edge to maximize clean roundness and transient sweetness.
