Why these settings

Moore pushed a clean Marshall JTM45 using the Guv'nor as the sole saturation engine, so the VT40X is set to the BRIT 1959 model with amp gain low (2) to prevent muddy double-gain stacking. The Godin Session HT neck single-coil is naturally brighter and thinner than Moore's PAF humbucker, so rolling guitar tone to 6 and maxing pedal mids restores that fat, singing sustain. The VT40X faceplate lacks a dedicated presence knob, so it is omitted.

PRO TIPDig in with a heavy pick angle over the neck pickup and roll the tone knob back to around 6 to nail the smooth 'woman tone' attack without high-end harshness.
