01COMPRESSOR
Onboard STOMP block to replicate the endless singing sustain and dynamic bloom of Gary's cranked Mark I
02PLATE
Onboard REV block set via encoder to replicate the studio EMT plate reverb
The original singing lead comes from a cascading Mesa/Boogie Mark I pushed into controlled feedback. On the Mustang LT25, the BURN model delivers the necessary cascading preamp compression and smooth sustain without fizz. To compensate for the ceramic pickups in the Ibanez RG420EX, the neck pickup is selected with guitar tone dialed back to 7 and amp treble pulled back to 5 for that thick, vocal-like blues bloom. Middle has no knob on the LT25: press the encoder to open the preset, press it again on the amp model, then select MIDDLE on the display and turn the encoder.
