The Frontman 15G has only Volume, Bass, and Treble controls (no Mid, Presence, Gain knob on the normal channel, or Reverb), so those controls are nulled. To replicate the dark, woody resonance of Feist's hollowbody Guild mini-humbuckers through bright Strat single coils, the Strat tone knob is rolled back to 7 and amp treble is kept low at 4.
