RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Used on the clean arpeggiated verse sections only. Bypass for distorted chorus sections.
The original tone comes from a high-gain Rectifier with humbuckers. Your Blues Junior is a low-gain amp with bright Fender voicing, and your Strat has single coils — opposite character. Pushed the amp gain to maximum and engaged FAT for extra low-end to compensate for the Strat's thinner output. Without an overdrive pedal, you will get a crunchy edge-of-breakup tone but not the saturated wall of distortion on the record. Treble dropped from what a Rectifier would use because Fenders are already bright and single coils add high-end.
