Because the Epiphone Les Paul Junior's single P-90 has a brighter bite than Felder's neck/bridge PAF humbuckers, tone is rolled down to 7 and treble kept moderate to tame harshness. Gain is set to 6 on the model to achieve that singing sustain without descending into modern distortion.
