Why these settings

The Frontman 15G cannot produce the massive, tight saturation of Stephen Carpenter's Marshall JMP-1 rig on its own; pushing its built-in drive channel results in harsh, muddy solid-state fizz through an 8-inch speaker. Instead, the amp is kept on the Clean channel with low gain, and a dedicated high-gain distortion pedal (like a Rat 2) is recommended to supply the heavy gain. Treble and presence on the Strat's bridge single-coil are softened to compensate for lack of humbucker thickness and prevent brittle top-end rasp.

PRO TIPTune down to Drop C# (Db-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb) and dig hard into the strings right near the bridge with an aggressive, tight palm mute on the percussive verse and chorus riffs to replicate the signature chunk.
