Push the Twin's mids to 8 to combat the natural Fender scoop and keep the Bright switch off so your Les Paul's bridge humbucker retains clarity without ice-pick top end. To get genuine crunch rather than loud clean headroom, a treble booster or British-voiced overdrive pedal is essential as the gain stage.
