Your Vypyr VIP 3 has a 6505 model built in — select that amp voice to match the original recording's DNA directly. Your Enya ESP-1 has passive humbuckers vs the original's hot EMG actives, so gain is pushed +1 from studio settings to compensate for lower output. Mids scooped to 4 because the Vypyr's 6505 model already has inherent mid-forward voicing compared to the real head.

PRO TIPThe secret to this tone's tightness is palm-mute technique — anchor your picking hand firmly and mute aggressively right at the bridge saddles, not further back. The TS at zero gain is doing 30% of the work; your right hand does the other 70%.
