RECOMMENDED — not currently owned; tightens low-end flub and boosts upper-mid attack into high-gain amps
The Kadence Xa-8 is a compact practice amp with a 2-band EQ and no dedicated midrange control, so push Treble to 7 and keep Bass at 5 to prevent the small speaker from flubbing under high gain. Engage the amp's drive channel at Gain 7 to capture the core 6505 saturation. If you add a TS9-style overdrive later, use it as a clean boost (Drive 0, Level 9) to tighten the low end further.
