The Orange Crush 20 naturally has thick, dark low-mids compared to the Marshall/Diezel high-gain stacks used by Sammy Amara and Ronald Hübner. To compensate, push the amp's mids to 7 and use your TS9 as a clean overdrive boost (Drive low, Level high) to cut excessive flub and give your Telecaster single coil the focused punch of a Les Paul humbucker. Roll your Tele's tone knob slightly back to 8 to shave the ice-pick edge while keeping aggressive bite. (The Crush 20 faceplate has no presence or built-in reverb, so both are omitted; the DD-7 remains bypassed for the dry rhythm tracks).
