Why these settings

The Schecter C-6 Pro carries passive Schecter Diamond Decimator pickups, which have slightly more dynamic range and less compressed bite than the EMG 81 active pickup used on the recording. To match that hyper-compressed attack, the TS9 block's tone is pushed to 7 and the 5150 amp block's presence is lifted to 7. Keep the amp block gain around 6—the cascaded 5150 gain paired with the TS9 level boost provides all the saturation needed without washing out fast palm-muted runs. Clean breakdown/intro transition: simply bypass the 5150 and TS9 blocks for a DI-style clean tone.

PRO TIPDig in with a heavy pick (1.14mm or thicker) tilted slightly toward the bridge pickup at Drop C tuning; the percussive 'clack' of an aggressive right hand driving into the TS9 front-end is what produces the razor-sharp Count Your Blessings transient attack.
