The VT40X's UK ROCK model captures the JCM800's mid-forward EQ center. Your Strat's single coils are brighter and lower output than Sambora's HSS Strat with humbuckers, so I've raised mids to 7 and kept treble moderate at 6 to avoid ice-pick highs. Using neck pickup with tone rolled to 7 warms the single coil closer to a humbucker's character for this ballad.
