Your SG's humbuckers are hotter and darker than Junior's hollow-body with floating pickups, so I've cut treble by 1 and kept mids strong to preserve his signature bark without ice-pick highs. The Mustang LT25's Deluxe Tweed model is the closest to a cranked 1940s Fender Pro — gain at 7 simulates his deliberate tube breakup. Tone knob at 6 rolls off the SG's brightness to approximate the warmer, woodier archtop response. Recording was bone dry — zero reverb.
