The Crush 35RT is warm with thick low-mids — closer to the Rectifier's character than the JCM900's clarity. Bass is pulled to 4 (original Recto runs bass higher, but the Crush gets muddy fast). Mid pushed to 6 to capture that aggressive punk bark. Without a boost pedal, the Crush's gain alone lacks the tight, focused attack of the Recto — a TS-style pedal is strongly recommended to get that defined palm-mute chunk.
