Adam's song amp settings — boss katana mini
The blink-182 guitar tone for “Adam's song”, dialed in for a boss katana mini with a Epiphone Les Paul Classic. Studio version, Enema of the State (1999)
Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier, Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster (Seymour Duncan Invader bridge humbucker), no pedals — amp distortion only
| Knob | Setting (0–10) |
|---|---|
| Gain | 8 |
| Bass | 5 |
| Mid | 6 |
| Treble | 6 |
| Master | 7 |
The Katana Mini has no presence or reverb controls — the original used minimal reverb anyway. Your Les Paul's humbuckers are warmer and higher-output than DeLonge's Invader, so I dropped bass from 6 to 5 and pushed mids to 6 to retain that aggressive mid-forward cut. Brown amp type approximates the Mesa Rectifier's saturated modern voicing. Gain at 8 gets you into that compressed territory without losing note definition.
