Why these settings

The Katana Mini has no presence or reverb controls — the original used minimal reverb anyway. Your Les Paul's humbuckers are warmer and higher-output than DeLonge's Invader, so I dropped bass from 6 to 5 and pushed mids to 6 to retain that aggressive mid-forward cut. Brown amp type approximates the Mesa Rectifier's saturated modern voicing. Gain at 8 gets you into that compressed territory without losing note definition.

PRO TIPDeLonge's palm-mute attack came from picking right at the bridge saddles with medium-heavy picks (1mm+) and a light but consistent muting pressure — too heavy and you lose the chunk, too light and it gets flubby.
