The Boss DS-2 serves as the primary gain source into the Park G25R's clean channel to prevent muddy double-gain stacking while delivering the heavy Bogner/Diezel saturation. Because the single-coil Telecaster bridge pickup is naturally brighter and thinner than Synyster's high-output Invader humbuckers, amp treble and pedal tone are rolled back while amp bass is boosted to thicken the low-end thump. The tone knob on the Telecaster is pulled back to 7 to round off single-coil icepick frequencies and emulate humbucker mass.
